Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal

Aim: To create a proper mesh flow considering the quality criteria provided after cleaning Geometric errors.

Steps:

1. Load the model.
   
2. Assign the length. This helps to maintain the target length.
   
   
3. Clean the geometric errors.
   
4. This component has variable thickness. So, casting method can be used to generate Midsurface.
   
   
   
5. Assign Quality parameters and Mesh Parameters
   
   
   
6. To make a Bolt connection, a COG point needs to generate, which can be done using COG under Topo_Points. And the convert the Point into a Bolt connection through the Connection manager.
   
   
   
7. Also, to make a seam weld, a curve needs to be generated, which can be done using the Cons to curve which is in Topo_Curves. And then convert the curves into sealine and then define the connection using the connection manager.
