Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal

Objective :
To check for the Geometry cleanup, making the mid surface, and mesh it with the below 2D element Quality criteria for the given model

Procedure:

1. Import the CAD model to the ANSA

2. Make the topo operation
3. Check for geometry clean up. If finding any trple cons and single cons, fix the cons with topo operations.

5. measure the thickness of each PID and store the values

6. Make the mid-surface to the given model.

8. Check for geometry cleanup for the midsurface

9. Assign thickness and Apply PIDs to the different parts

10. Give quality criteria to the model and check for the quality criteria to the given mesh.

11. Assign meshing to the model. Check for the proper meshing and reconstruct for better meshing.

conclusion:

Made the geometry cleanup for the model, midsurface with given quality criteria, and meshing with proper mesh flow.
