Week 4 - 2D Meshing for Sheet Metal

OBJECTIVE

To carry out mid surface generation for the given CCB model after checking all the geometrical errors and mesh the mid surface with the given element quality criteria.

PROCEDURE

1-Open the file which has been downloaded in ANSA.

2-Set up the length criteria of the object for both perimeters and macros which is 5 mm and set the mesh parameter.

3-Seperated each part and applied gemotry check before mid surface development.

4. Generated mid surface development for the different parts with mid surface development and one exaust pipe with manual offset due difficulties in automatic one.

5-Eliminate the unwanted line and clean up the mid surface for smooth and good mesh development .

6-Went to mesh option, tried best mesh to different face of different parts

7--With the help of different tools at MESH, able to draw a final mesh flow at the surface with considering all the criteria

8-Applied thickness to genenerated product
