Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

A) The Given challenge is to Mesh the Given component with the Size of 5 Units. Create 1D elements on the following component with the given cross-section and DOF.

Step 1: We have imported the given model.

Step 2: We should remove the component's unwanted node and solid parts in the component.

Step 3: We have to create a mid-surface, mid-surface: auto extraction by selecting the component we can make the

mid-surface for it.

Step-4: Before doing mesh we have to create washers split at circular areas to avoid improper formation of elements at that region.

Step 5: So as per the given condition we have to do a mesh with an element size of 5 units.

Step 6: After creating the mesh we should check all elements in the circular area and we have to adjust them.

Step 7: We have to give material to the component.

Step 8: We have to assign the properties to the component.

Step 9: we have to create RBE 2 & RBE 3 links as per the question at respected areas.

Step 10: Now as per the given question we have to create different rod, bar, and beam cross sections in the hyper beam.

Step 11: We have to create a box, x & I cross sections with given units.

Step 12: We have to create the rod, bar & beam elements as per the given condition in question.

Step 13: we have to create a spring element to join the component and we have to add a mass magnitude of 10 at given positions.

Hence we completed the task given.
