Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

Our Objective is :- Mesh the Given component with the Size of 5 Units. Create 1D elements on the following component with given cross-section and DOF

First of all I downloaded the model & then extracted the mid surface by GEOMETRY -> Mid Surface

I basically did two saperate mid surface of component , then I meshed by using 2D -> AutoMesh -> Mesh

Afterwards I create RB2 by using 1D -> Rigids where there is required as per question

Similarly I create RB3 by using 1D -> RB3 where there is required as per question

So the final outcome is shown below

Afterward I make RB2 and adding mass of 10 unit to it as per question

hence it was assigned

Afterward I assign Rod , Beam & Bar in three holes as there was in model.

For making Rod Bar & Beam of above dimension I used HyperBeam option to make I section, Box , X section

Then I make rod beam and bar by these options

hencw it was made

Afterward I assign the properties to them

Finally I attached spring to it 1D -> Springs

Hence our objective is completed
