Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge
- Import the model
- Create mid surface to reduce the number of nodes
- hide the surfaces for the upper bracket
- add lower braket in the model tree
- create the material named steel
- create proterties for both bracket of given thickness and pshell type elements
- do washer split for all the holes
- do auto mesh for both brackets
- create RBE2 and RBE3 elements for nodes according the the question of given DOF
- put mass weight at position d and e of magnitude 10
- for a,b,c position , create rod beam bar
- create solid sections in hyperbeam mode
- create the sections of desired dimensions
- create rod beam bar elements at a,b,c nodes
- create properties for rod beam bar
- assign card id , material , cross section for all 3 properties
- assign properties for each element in the model
- select detailed view for seeing the crossection
- create springs at f positions in the given model
- thus model subjected to given condition is meshed and created
