Internal Geneva Mechanism
we observe that
- Upon increasing precision contact we get a finer graph indicating better accuracy
- Increasing fps results in smoother graph and animations
- Velocity o driving gear gradually increases to the desired value of 10rpm
- Driven gear is free to rotate and returns to a o speed indicating intermitted motion
- Motion analysis @ 10 rpm
ang disp vs time
force vs time
- Motion analysis @ 10 rpm ( precise contact)
ang disp vs time
force vs time
On comparison precise contact and normal simulation we observe that precise contact setting leads to a much smoother graph
while disabling it gives a very fluctuating graph - Motion analysis @ 10 rpm @ 60 fps
Increasing the graph from the default setting helps to get much more instances and gives more accurate results along with finer animation
- Motion analysis @ 20 rpm @ 120 fps
increasing the fps to further 120 gives much more smoothness and accuracy , but more processing time in calculation of graphs - Driver wheel angular velocity
- Driven wheel angular velocity
