Simulink model For washing machine machine and gear ratios.

Aim:

To create a simulink chart for 'washing machine' and 'gear shift' as per given parameters.

Procedure:

1:Simulink model:

In this all process are completed and green light is indicated for completion of work.

In above logic state there are 2 inputs PowerSwitch and WaterState, if entry is 1 then power supply and water supply are on and next process is started.
In next process they are 4 logic state follows like soaking,washing,rinsing and drying which have different time managments like 200sec for soak, 100 sec for washing, 20 for rinse and 50 for drying.
For each state entry is at 0 and exit is 1 which completes the state.

In this above logic state the engine is started with input switch as E=1 and maintains on(1)/off(0) with rocker switch.

Five gear states are created with Gear1,2, 3, 4 and 5 and transition is connected with speed range which connected through slider switch.

The gear transition conditions are:

Speed Range(kmph) Gear

0 to 15 1

16 to 25 2

26 to 40 3

41 to 60 4

Above 61 5

According to this reverse direction are also connected.

In above state the speed is at 70 which is >61 so gear 5 is glow green.

Similarly when the speed changes if it lies in above conditions the green light will glown accordingly.
