Week 3 Verification of Weld Joints

Objective: The objective of the study is to run the simulation with 3 different cases. In each case the material for elements will be changed.

In all the cases the load selected is 15000N

Case 1: structural steel for all elements

case 2: Big and small plates structural steel and for other elements aluminum alloy

Case 3: Big and small plates structural steel, Copper for two ribs and for weld elements bronze

Conclusions:

We could observe that the simulation performed with structural steel has a lower directional deformation value compared to the other two cases.
