Week - 3 Drop test Challenge

Aim: TO perform Simulation using scartch file by assigning keywords 

Objective: To create simulation cards and perfom a drop test simulation

Procedure:

1.The file was having only few keywords which were further edited and simulation was performed

2.The Node set ID's were created using the Create Tab-->Set-->Set Node and then NSID's were cretaed for both plate and mobile 

3.After creating the NSID's the Materials were created for the model and further these material properties were assigned to the model

4.After this velocity was to be assigned to the Cell phone which was created using the Initial-->Velocity

          

5.Then further the contact were defined using the Contacts-->surface to surfacce 

6.Then after this output blocks were created for Matsum,SleForc,SECFORC and binary D3 Plot with Dt of 0.1 ms 

7.Further the simulaton was run and Effective results were claculated Like Von misses stress  and strain

etc

Conclusion: Hence the Cards were created and simulation was run using this cards in which we cmae to know that there is not much effect on the cell phone model when it Collides with the Rigid plate with a velocity of 5.4 ms
