Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim: Meshing of Rearview mirror(Solid meshing)

Objective:No OFF elements and Collapse elements to be present on the surface

Procedure:

1.Geometry clean up was done on the model as there were needle faces and single cons present on the surface

2.Further Meshing was done on the model

3.For Curved faces and entities ortho tria pattern was used and for flat surfaces normal tria mesh patterrn was used

4.Futher OFF elements were cleaned using MV Command

5.After that volume was defined to the Model and Mehsing was done using Tetra FEM

Learning Outcomes:

For curved features ortho tria should be used and flat surfaces should be meshed with tria for obtaining proper mesh flow

Conclusion :

Proper mesh flow can be attained only if we follow the above statement
