Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool
1.
* Load the Advisor tool succesfully, after that in Vehicle input window, in load file drop down change the file to EV_defaults_in instead of Parallel_default_in.
* Change the cargo size to 500Kg. The total mass will change ot 1508Kg.

* No need to change any other parameter as per the question. Click on continue. It will open the Drive Cycle selection page.
* Change the drive cycle to CYC_FTP for FTP drive cycle selection.
* Currently checking for one drive cycle so # of cycles selected as 1.

* To analyse the result click on the RUN button and it will open the below screen with simulation result.

* From the 2nd graph, which is ess_soc_hist vs Time the SOC is dropped from 100% to 60% with one drive cycle. Which means for one drive cycle with 17.8KM and in 2477Sec almost 40% Charge is depleted.
* So again we go back to previous window and increase the drive cycle by one and checking the result.

* From the result its clear that for 2 FTP Driving cycle, the vehicle travelled for 35.5KM and the SOC depleted to almost 18% of its charge.
* Our Aim is to check whether the vehicle can run 45KM, So again we repeate the simulation for 3 Drive Cycle.

* From the result we can come to a conclusion that the vehicle can only travel up to 41.4KM with current battery capacity.
2.
* In the above case we have 25 Battery units with 308V capacity and a weight of 275Kg. With this capacity we can reach only upto 41.4 KM.
* So we increase the no of batteries by 2 So the total no of batteries become 27.

* With this new condition we found the following result.

* With the new condition still we are not able to achieve the target. So again add one more battery unit. And found the result as follows,

* So with 28 Batteries with nom Voltage of 345V, We can travel 45KM in 3 Drive cycles of FTP drive cycle.
3.
Loaded the file for PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in.

* Checking for the same FTP drive cycle with a gradabilty of 15% input and enabeling the all parameters. Keeping all other parameter unchanged.

* We found the result as,
