1.EV_defaults with payload 500 kg

Vehicle configuration:-

change cargo mass to 500

Drive cycle FTP:-

Its shows 17.77 km for one cycle so we increse the cycle into three to get 45km

Plots for 3 cycles :-

first plot shows drive cycle speed against time

second plot shows battery SOC

third plot is emission is 0 because its full electic drive

fourth plot is distance travelled

The vehicle has failed to travel 45km under the payload 500kg with drive cycle FTP

2.Changing battery capacity

Same simulation with battery module increase to 35

Plots:-

first plot shows drive cycle speed against time

second plot shows battery SOC

third plot is emission is 0 because its full electic drive

fourth plot is distance travelled 53.2km

With increse the battery module into 10 numbers the vehicle manage to travel more than 45km with payload 500

3.Perform gradability test PIRUS_ipn_defaults

Vehicle characteristic:-

Change the grade parameters in grade options:-

1.change 10 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 34.4% with 16.1kmph

2.change 20 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 23.5% with 32.2kmph

3.change 30 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 18.8% with 48.3kmph

4.change 40 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 15.8% with 64.4kmph

5.change 50 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 13.5% with 80.5kmph

6.change 60 mph for 50 sec

the gradebility shows 11.7% with 96.6kmph

Conclusion:-

The gradability decresaes with the increase in speed

The vehicle speed decrease upto certain point and maintain steady state
