1) For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

Observation:

In this all values are default only cargo mass is change to 500kg

before adding or increasing cargo mass distance traveled by car is 48.2 km

after cargo mass is set to 500kg then distance traveled by car is 41.4 km

As per simulation increase in cargo mass it results tend to reduction in distance so vehile cannot covers the 45km in single charge

2)In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

As we see in previous condition distance is no covered in single charge due to increase in mass

so we have to increas battery property previously 25 battery modules are use which gives the 308 nominal voltage but this voltage is not sufficient to travel specified distance.

after battery modules is increase to 29 then it gives 358 V which is enough to drive vehicle 45km as shown

3) Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file Compare your results in table and conclude.

In this all values kept default and only speed is increases with the increase in speed greadability is decreases
