Week 3 - 2D meshing for sheet metal

Here Iam attaching the Drive link ANSA Mesh model.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qGAOKUOaHJlEypeSRSZsp6mEbxHuB5zS/view?usp=sharing

Here is the Explaination for the given model

1. The given models Property card is to be checked for finding the number of components.

2. The given model's Material property was fixed is checked for a geometry checke up to find the dis continuty colsed volume issues and other topology issues

3. After finishing the geometry clean up Topology check has to be doneand then mid surfacing is to be done

4. for Generating mid surface we have to select the offset command and select the surface to generate the midsurface in this the direction was to be checked before offseting the surface if it is opposite the negative sign is to be added in front of the vaue.

5. After generating Mid surface the quality parameters has to be entered in the quality parameter dialog box in this minimum length and maximum length and all ohter quality parameters was to be entered.

6. Then in meshing the numbers command the average length for the hot points has to be entered in this i was given a average value as 5.

7. Then the mesh has to be done in the mid surface in this mid surface for the mesh the one surface is taken to work in this and the best mesh command is selected to give a best mesh flow for the selected surface

8. In first try there was so many errors in second try i was used the re construct command to get the mesh flow

9. Then the model is checked for the quality check what was said in video like minimum trias and corner trias was avoided and opposite trias where avoided.

10. After the mesh generations if the surface is free from errors and the quality issues then the mesh is accepted

11. As i said the process was same for all the components the inner hood was takken so much of time because of the many features was available in that component.
