Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve
Aim:
Set three different target length as three different cases and mesh the model
Target length = 1mm, 3mm, 5mm
Element type = Tria
Objective:
To check the geometrical errors and perform topology cleanup accordingly.
Procedure:
Import the geometry to the ANSA

Geometry checks:
To check the geometry errors using checks manager by geometry

Clear Geometry:

The geometry are cleared by following steps:
- In the face option select the new and the following option are shows

- the errors are cleared by selecting the single cons and the entities
- the surfaces will be patched, once we confirm that.
PID creation:
By selecting the properties, create the list of boundary layer

Conclusion:
Meshing with target length of 1mm is giving a good results, It looks more finer compare with the remaining length of 3mm, 5mm.
