Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve
AIM: To set the target length for the given model and mesh the model using ANSA.
ONJECTIVE: Check the geometrical errors in the given model and perform the topology cleanup accordingly. Set the three different target lengths as three different cases and mesh the model.
- Target length = 1mm, 3mm and 5mm
- Element type = Tria
PROCEDURE:
- First of all we insert the given model in the ANSA.
- Then we check the unit in mm.
- Then we check the resolution of the given model
- Then we check the geometrical errors. If the geometrical errors is there then the all resolve the all geometrical erros like single coons, triple coons, intersection errors etc.

- My geometrical errors is resolved.
- Then we go for mesh the given model
- First of all we set the target length = 1mm, 3mm and 5mm.
- And Element Type = Tria
- We use CFD Meshing in the whole model of the needed target length.
- First we set the Target length = 1mm and meshed the given model.

Whole model is meshed under 1mm target length

- Now we set the Target length = 3mm and meshed the model

Whole model meshed under 3mm target length

- Now we set the Target length = 5mm and meshed the model.

CONCLUSION:
- So I conclued that how to rectify the geometrical error of the model
- when we set the 1mm target length we found that refine meshed is there and 3mm and 5mm target length meshed is not so good.
- When we set the target length 1mm of the model, total number of element is 133549.
- When we set the target length 3mm of the model, total number of element is 22691.
- When we set the target length 5mm of the model, total number of element is 9228.
