Q.1 - Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block

Results: From the above scope’s waveform, it can be said that the solenoid was active till 2 secs. During that time span, the doorbell was ringing. When the switch was closed after 2 secs, the solenoid gets active and acts as electromagnet which results in attracting the metal rod of doorbell.

Q.2 – A thermistor used to sense the temperature of a heater and turn on or off the fan as per the fan as per the conditions mentioned.

Results- The above results were obtained by using Resistor of 100kOhms and battery of 12V. From 0-10 secs fan is off as per the required condition. After 10 secs, when temperature gets above 27 degrees Celsius the fan gets ON. When the temperature drops, the fan goes off.
