  1. DOORBELL USING SOLENOID

  • PULSE GENERATOR: It is used to give the input signals and time is set for a period of every 2sec.
  • SIMULINK PS CONVERTOR: It is used to convert input signals as a physical signal.
  • SWITCH: If the external physical signal ps is greater than threshold value then switch is closed, otherwise switch is open.
  • BATTERY: The input and +ve and-ve terminals of a battery is connected to +ve and -ve terminals of the system.
  • SOLENOID: When a maximum load is applied to a plunger, the metal strip in the plunger gets completely compressed ans setes out the plunger to zero when load is removed.
  • IDEAL TRANSLATIONAL MOTION SENSOR: The positon and velocity is been calculated with respect to R & C ports.
  • SOLVER CONFIGURATION: It is used to set solver values for simulation.
  • ELECTRICAL REFERENCE: It is given for electrical circuits.
  • MECHANICAL ROTATIONAL REFERENCE: It is given to mechanical circuits and fixed to ground.
  • PS SIMULINK CONVERTER: It is used to convert physical signal as a simulink signal.
  • SCOPE & DISPLAY: It is used to display the output.

CONCLUSION:

  • pulse generator is connected to a switch, power is driven by the switch from the battery ,here solenoid acts as electromagnet which consists of a metalic strip & gets compressed when a force is applied to it and then hits the bell and gives a sound for every 2sec of time period and sets to zero when load is removed.

OUTPUT:

  • Input of the Pulse Generator:

  • Output of the model:

From the graph we can absorb the position of velocity for simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block.

2.THERMISTOR TO SENSE TEMPERATURE AND HEATER TO TURN OFF & ON THE FAN:

  • SIGNAL BUILDER: It is used to generate signal according to the condition.
  • SIMULINK PS CONVERTER: It is used to convert input signals as a physical signal.
  • CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE SOURCE: Physical output signal is given to port S.
  • THERMAL REFERENCE: It is given to the controlled temprature source for reference.
  • THERMISTOR: It is ued to show NTC thermistor relation between temperature and resistance.
  • BATTERY: It is a storage device that provides required voltage.
  • RESISTOR: It is used to limit the current.
  • VOLTAGE SENSOR: It is used to sense the voltage across the current and is connected in parallel to the resistor.
  • ELECTRICAL REFERENCE: Given to the electrical circuits.
  • SOLVER CONFIGURATION: It is used to set solver values for simulation.
  • PS SIMULINK CONVERTERS: It is used to convert physical signals into simulink signals.
  • SWITCH: This block pass through input1 when input2 satisfies the seleced criteria, otherwise passes through input3.
  • CONTROLLED VOLTAGE SOURCE: It is used to controll a specify vltage at its output.
  • DC MOTOR: It is an electromechanical blocks which takes electrical input and produces mechnical output.
  • IDEAL ROTATIONAL MOTION SENSOR: It measures angular velocity in a mechanical rotational output.
  • MECHANICAL REFERENCE: It is connected to mechanical translational motion.
  • SCOPE: It is an output block which is used to plot the values.

INPUT:

Here, the input is set to different temperature in different time period.

OUTPUT:

Here, the output graph is been shown.
