Challenge

Week -2

Hi,

I would like to share my week 2 challenges report with you, i have attached pictures of layout and results with this report for your reference.

Challenge #1

I created a simulink model of a doorbell using solenoid, initially i have created a pulse for doorbell with pulse generator then using simulink to ps converter i have converted that pulse into a Physical system to actuvate a switch. so it will on off with respect to the pulse produced in pulse generator. The switch common point is connected with battery(24v) and NO point is connected with solenoid positive terminal. The negative terminal of the solenoid is connected with battery's negative terminal. so this is a electrical setup of this model.

The mechanical parts of the solenoid is having two ports one is C and another one is R.here i have connected C with mechanical translational reference and R with ideal translational motion sensor. the c port of the motion sensor is connected with mechanical translational reference1. output of the motion sensor results are converted using ps to simulink converted and given to scope to review the output in detail. i would like to show the results of the challenge below.

Challenge #2

I created a simulink model of a thermistor to sense the temperature in a room and on off as per some conditions.i have used three ramps to reach the temperature within a given time and these i have used XT=A Equation to obtain slope values here X = Slope values, T= time and A=desired temp value. by using this i have created a temperature values as given in conditions. i have added these three ramp values by using add block and converted this values to physical system and feed it to controlled temperature source as a temperature input.

Temperature sensor is used to sense the temperature produced in controlled temperature source, i used these output of the temperature sensor in a switch block.if the temperature is above 25, then the fan output will on(1) or it will be in off(0) condition.i would like share the output graph of

this model below.

I have attached program backup files with this report please find the attachments.

Thanks,
