Challenge

Week -2

Challenge 2:-

In challenge 2 we have a) Solenoid door bell

b) thermistor to sense the temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan

A) Solenoid Door Bell:-

The solenoid is a device which acts as a electromaganitic field when current passed through U shaped Iron rod

the copper wire sourrounded on the iron rod

Solenoid valves are control units which, when electrically energized or de-energized, either shut off or allow

fluid flow. The actuator takes the form of an electromagnet. When energized, a magnetic field builds up which pulls a plunger or pivoted armature against the action of a spring

Above block diagram

we have attached voltage source to know the switch on/off to see in scope

OUTPUT:-

The outputs are attached in below

B) Thermistor to sense the temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan:-

Thermistor:-

The working principle of a thermistor is that its resistance is dependent on its temperature.If we know the

exact relationship between how changes in the temperature will affect the resistance of the thermistor,then

by measuring the thermistor's resistance we can derive its temperature

A type of resistor whose resistance value is sensitive to the change in temperature is known as Thermistor.

dR= k.dT

k=Temperature Coefficient of the first order

dT= change in the temperature

In the above block diagram

we have assign different temperature inputs to control Temperature force and Thermistor is to resistance the Temperature with requires

Output:-

The output block diagram and graphs are attached below
