Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block

In Simulink model of Doorbell, pulse generator is used for giving the 2 seconds interval in opening and closing of switch with the help of PS to Simulink convertor. The battery is connected to solenoid as power source. To record the position of solenoid we use ideal translational motion sensor. At start the metal arm is 5 mm away from bell (means from c point), to show the input and output signal we use scope. Ideal translational motion sensor block gives two outputs first is voltage and second one is position, we use position for results in scope.

In above image input is shown which is generated with the help of pulse generator with amplitude of 1 unit and 2 second time intervals with in opening and closing of switch.

Output of Motion sensor

Fan System

In this system to create input as per given condition (20 °C from 0 to 10 seconds, 27 °C from 10 to 30 seconds, 23 °C from 30 to 50 seconds), we use controlled temperature source block and to give desire input temperature. We give input signal with the help of signal builder block and both connected with Simulink to PS convertor. The input temperature is given to thermistor, thermistor then gives the output in the form of voltage, this voltage is measure by voltmeter across the two point of resistor. This voltage is given to the switch, the max voltage at 25 °C is 0.0125, the switch is set as the when voltage is greater than or equal to voltage value of 0.0125 swich gives output as 1 ( switch is in close condition ) otherwise the output is 0 ( switch is in open condition ) . This out put is given to fan as input for operating.

Signal Input

In above input temperature is taken in kelvin.

Signal Output to fan

In above results fan is on if temperature reach above 25 °C.
