Week 14 challenge

AIM :

To assemble the previosuly designed Butterfly valve components.

INTRODUCTION :

Butterfly Valve : It is a elctromechanical device that control the flow of fluid in a closed system. Butterfly valve is a commonly known as 2 way valve one way inlet of the fluid and oulet of the fluid. Generally it used to regulating or isolated the fluid to a system by open and close. the centre disc in the valve can rotated to 45 deg to make a flow towards the system. It is also called Quater turn valve.

STEPS :

• Create a new assembly file and import all the components into the workspace.
• Define all the recommended constraints to mate the components.

• After assembled the components, switch the workspace to drafting and mark the GD&T to the model

CONCLUSION :

From this challenge we have learned about the basics of part modelling, assembly modelling and drafting with some GD&T standards.
