Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

Aim:

Generating mid-surface and mesh for a rear wheel holder.

Pre-requisites:

• Geometry
• HyperMesh software

Overview:

• Importing geometry to HyperMesh software.
• Topology clean-up the geometry
• Generating mid-surface.
• Generating mesh.
• Cleaning the mesh as per the given quality criteria.

Procedure:

-Import the given geometry to HyperMesh software.

-Clean up the geometry and generate a mid-surface from the geometry.

-After generating mid-surface clean up the mid-surface and then generate mesh.

-After generating mesh clean the mesh as per the given quality criteria.

-Assign the property card for the mid-surface and give thickness.

Learning objective:

From this project I have learned how to generate mid-surface and to generate mesh for a compicated geometry and to clean up the geometry.

Conclusion:

Mid-surface and mesh for a rear wheel holder has been generated.
