Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

OBJECTIVE:

To mesh the Rear wheel Holder as per the given quality creteria with proper mesh flow and thickness.

CAD MODEL:

WORKING PRCOCEDURE:

To create a proper mesh flow as per the given quality creteria we should organise the surfaces into a single componenet.

Then starting with manual midsurfacing extract with surface edit the base surfaces, then the inner surfaces.

The area which is having more than 6mm thickness can not be sxtracted midsurface so as mentioned in question we can capture it as cross section.

Then using 2-D auto mesh proper mesh has been created with meshflow and quality creteria.

Using quality index the elemental quality has imporved much better.

RESULT:

The mesh has been sucessfully created to Rear wheel Holder as per the given quality creteria with proper mesh flow and thickness.
