Aim: To take the mid surface and mesh the model as per the given criteria.

Open the model in hypermesh as shown below :

Delete all solids present in the model :

Fix geometrical issues present in the model as shown below :

Midsurfacing :

Since it is a sheet metal component it has a uniform thickness, we take the mid surface by offset method as shown :

After taking the mid surface we mesh the geometry as shown :

Quality Criteria are entered as shown below :
