Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge
Objective: To mesh the rear wheel holder by following the quality criteria
Target Element Length = 5 Units
| S.No | Quality Criteria | Value |
| 1 | Aspect Ratio | 5 |
| 2 | Skewness | 45 |
| 3 | Warping | 15 |
| 4 | Taper | 0.5 |
| 5 | Min. Length | 2 Units |
| 6 | Max. Length | 8 Units |
| 7 | Min angle Quad | 45 |
| 8 | Max angle Quad | 135 |
| 9 | Min angle Tria | 20 |
| 10 | Max angle Tria | 120 |
| 11 | Tria % | 10 |

Procedure:
- Import the model onto the workspace
- Perform geometry cleanup at all areas
- Also delete all duplicate areas
- Here, the component has 0.75mm thickness, so shell meshing is prefered
- Extract the midsurface using automesh or by manual offset method
- Load criteria file with the mentioned values
- Perform meshing area by area
- Rebuild the mesh so as to get a proper mesh flow
- Avoid opposite tria elements and rotational quad elements
- Now assign property cards to the meshed elements
- Thickness is assigned to elements by using property cards
- 2D detailed element representation gives the thickened view of the meshed model
