Week 12:Project 2-Meshing of Rear Wheel Holder challenge

Aim:

The given model is taken up for modeling as per the given quality criteria.

Procedure:

1. The given plastic component is performed for geometry checks.

2. The free edges are cleared manually and created new surfaces.

3. As per the given instruction buttons are deleted and closed the surfaces.

4. On clearing all the geometric errors, mid-surface is extracted and geometric errors are cleared.

5. In the mid-surface all the geometric errors are cleared and proceeded for cleanup which can help neglect minimum lenght element failures.

6. The error free mid-surface is meshed and failed elements are observed.

7. Failed elements are cleared manually using element cleanup tools.

8. The above image shows the cleared for quality as per the given quality criteria. Few elements cant be cleared due to sharpness of the plastic component design and it can be ignored.

9. The component assigned with its respective thickness and properties.

10. The completed model is submitted in .fem format for your kind review.
