Week 12:- Documentation Challenge

OBJECTIVE: To Creat a bill of material(BOM) and Bill of parts (BOP) For the designed fixture.

THEORY:

Bill of Material: A bill of material (bom) is comprehensive inventory of the raw material , assemblies , part and components , as well as the quantity each needed to manufaturing a product .In is the complete list of all the that are requiried   to build a product.A bom is something also referred to as a product structure , assembly component list or production recipe.

A well-definned BOM helps companies:

• Plan purchases of raw materials.
• Estimate material costs.
• Gain inventory control 
• Track and plan material requirements 
• maintain supply robustness and reduce waste

 Bill of parts: A bill of parts is list that contain all the required hardware and parts which are to be bought from a supplier.

BILL OF MATERIAL OF DESIGNED FIXTURE
