Week 12 Challenge
Dear Sir,
Here I have attached the week 12 challange for your kind reference, Here I have the entire ejection assy and sprue bush and cooling channels
Steps for creating the Ejection Pins:-
- we have already the ejection holes for in the core insert area. noe we have to create the ejection pins in that hole
- Before making the ejection pins we have to make a relief hole for that ejection pin from the top upto 20 mmmonlu ejection pin guiding needs after that we have to create the relief hole
- now we have create the ejection pins
- In that pin collar have to in D shape (because the ejection pins are profiles pins to avoid the cavity damage )
- once we create all the ejction pins then we have to create the ejection plate and ejection back plate
- for both the ejeciton and the ejection back plate we can use the same dimension used the insert area
- once we finish the ejection assy we have to create the spacer block for the ejctioon system (the ejection we travell in that spacer area only
- After that we have to create the bottom plate
Steps for creatign Sprue and runner and gate:-
- First we have to create the top plate for that model in cavity area
- then we have to make a hole of 120 dia to 10mm depth for fixing the locating ring
- now we are going to make a sprue bush (The material will travell in that pathway and reaches the part area
- first make a 5mm dia hole and make a extrude hole till the cavity plate (there should a draft of 1.5 degree
- now the sprue is completed
- now we have work in core side (the runner will in corre side only)
- make the path way for the runner area (keep some distance for themake gate)
- the dia is 4mm the depth of 4mm
- the now we have to make a gate (for this we are going to use edge gate)
- To provide that we have to make a sketch aas shown in the video
- Once we finish the entire runner and the gate (now we have to subcract the runner area in the main core insert)
- the runner and the gate will be completed
Steps for creating the air-vent:-
- near the part area we have create the path way (the air should escape while closing the mould)
- this will leads to a part defect (short Fill, Burn mark, Bluster, etc)
- the air-vent will be in the depth of 0.5mm
- and the air-vent which touches the part area will be in the depth of 0.05mm
- If we increase the depth means it will leads to a flash (excess material in the part)
Steps for creating the Cooling channels:-
- For this model we are going to use square type cooling channel
- for this we have to use hole wizard command and have to make a hole as shown in the video
