Week 11-3D Tetra Meshing Challenge
Aim:
The aim of this challenge is to get tetramesh for the given three models with the three different types of tetra mesh generatio
procedure:
- First model is the conventional method of getting the tetra mesh
2D to 3D Conversion
Elements sizes: Min- 2 Units, Target- 5 Units, Max- 7 Units
Tet collapse: 0.15
- The model is first meshed with the 2D tria elements for the curve regions R-tria is used and for the flat regions normal tria is used
- After the meshing and the error are cleared and matched up with the criteria
- Then the next process is checking for the connectivity

5. Because with the free edges the tetramesh will not generate

6. After that for the Tetramesh generation the from the 3D panel choosing the tetramesh for the tet generation

7. Tet is generated for this model and the tet collapse is also cleared by fix 3D elements in the tetramesh option
8.For the second model the method is
Quick Tetra Mesh/ Volume Tetra Mesh
Target Element size: 3 Units.
Tet Collapse: 0.15

9. For using the quick tetramesh we can find in the utility panel

10.after the tetramesh generation the tet collapse errors are cleared as already used fix 3D elements tab

11. For the Model 3 the challenge is
Quick Tetra Mesh/ Volume Tetra Mesh
Target Element size: 4 Units.
Tet Collapse: 0.15

12.volume tetramesh is used in thi challenge it is found in the tetarmesh panel

13. The tetra mesh is generated by using this option

conclusion:
The given challenge for the three model tet mesh generation is done as per the criteria
