Week 10 - Challenge 3 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

Report:

1. Tooling Axis:

• Tooling axis is responsible for the direction of the draft. So, the axis is created along the direction that shows most of the surface.

• A point is created in the curve that is at the middle of the surface.

• An axis is drawn from that point to the Y direction.

2.DRAFT ANALYSIS:

• The customize view mode was opened and selected material option.

• Selected the Draft analysis tool and took the compass option and placed the compass over the tooling axis.

• The lock option was selected and then clicked at a random place on the Class A surface with the cursor. The color of the draft analysis will be shown.

• The draft value is 3 deg.

• Locked the analysis by again clicking the lock option.
