Week 10 - Challenge 2- Attachment Feature Creation (Dog House)

Tooling axis and Draft analysis:

1. Main :

1. Tooling axis:

• Visually analyze the best position for the tooling axis.

• The Y-axis provides the view with more area of the surface.

• Select a point on the surface of the Class A Surface.

• Draw a dotted line at the point created along the y direction.

2. Draft analysis:

• Select the Change to customize view parameter.

• Select the draft analysis feature.

• Select the compass and arrange along the created tooling axis.

• Select the lock and select any surface and analyze the draft and lock it.

2. Dog House Tooling Axis:

1. Tooling Axis

• Take the same point where the main tooling axis where drew,

• Draw the axis from that point to the X-axis direction.

2. Draft analysis:

• Place the compass along the DH tooling axis.

• Select the lock and click on the Dog house .

• Change the draft value to 1.4 deg and lock the draft analysis.
