Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)

AIM: To create door handle B,C surface from A surface as well as created part with screw and ribs.

TOOLING AXIS & DRAFT ANALYSIS: Creating tooling axis on plane surface by pulling direction and the maximum draft is 3 mm.

To make the red zones into green positive draft side decresed draft angle from 3 to 2.9.

B-SURFACE CREATION:

Firstly, taking offset of the surface

Secondly, take mesures of the curved radius after untrim that surface

and every fillets too as follows.

Secondly, removing fillets and created boundary;furthermore extrapolate them. Then intersect and trim the excess surfaces.

C-SURFACE CREATION: To create c-surface using sweep command by 0-degree and 90-degree.

Thirdly, checking continuity of the boundary of B-surface and C-surface. Gaps has been repaired.

Joined and Trimmed the C- Surfaces as follows.

Then joined A,C surfaces and trimmed with respect to the B surface. Created part model.Then created rib by using extrude surface and thickness command in part model.
