Week 10 Bullet penetrating a Bucket Challenge

Aim :

The aim is to analyze the given model.

Objective:

Have to simulate a bullet penetrating into a bucket. You will need to use 3 different non linear materials for the bucket and analyse their behaviour for the same velocity of bullet.

Procedure:

Initially open up the ansys workbench,

then open up the model, add explicit dynamics,

and edit material in engg data,

then open the geometry and edit in the mechanical ansys,

Add the required coordinates,

now generate the mesh with sizing and apply it and

give the fixed and velocity,

change the end time setting,

and add the solution requirements,

finally solve it and save it as archive.

Result :

The highest resistance has for copper than other 2 material.
