Week 10 Bullet penetrating a Bucket Challenge
Objective: To simulate a bullet (TANTALUM) penetrating a bucket using explicit dynamics module of ANSYS Workbench for three different materials of bucket.
- Case 1: AL 1100-O
- Case 2: IRON
- Case 3: STEEL 1006
Procedure:
- Contacts: Since it is a highly dynamic event, no contacts are defined.
- Body Interactions:
- Type: Frictionless.
- Other Settings: Default.
