Week 1 Understanding Different Battery Chemistry
Battery is the combination of Cells. Battery is made up of Anode, Cathode, Electrolyte and Seperator. While discharge the electons flow from negative electrode through electrolyte to positive electrode, and back when charging.
There are Two different types of Battery
- Primary cells (non rechargable)
- secondary cells (Rechargable)
Lithium ion cells are part of secondary cells (Rechargable) There are 6 major types:
- NMC
- NCA
- LMO
- LCO
- LIPO
- LTO
