Week 1- Mixing Tee
Introduction: -
- Computational Fluid dynamics is the branch of fluid mechanicals that helps analyze the numerical data and solutions for fluid flow and heat transfer problems.
- It is a process of mathematically predicting the fluid flow by solving the governing equations using computational power.
GUI - Graphical User Interface
- Displays objects that convey information and represent actions to be performed by the user
ANSYS- It means analysis. Used to stimulate computer models of structures, instrumental or machine components to analyze the strength, toughness, pressure, temperature, velocity, fluid flow variation, and many other attributes . Here in ANSYS we can test how the product would work or withstand load, temperature and other conditions by performing certain tests without even building a product.
MIXING TEE
It is a flow control device which uses mixing control mechanism and which utilizes an engineered internal geometry to specifically mix two fluid streams into one combined one.

The above image shows of how generally a mixing tee looks like.

To test the mixing tee, we plot velocity and temperature line chart along the mix's tee length and validate the mesh independence.
