Usage of Collaborate tool in REVIT
1) Open an architectural template. Using the Manage tab set project base point and project shared coordinates for the project
AIM - By Using the Manage tab set project base point and project shared coordinates for the project also by using architectural template.
PROCEDURE-
- Open the Revit File the open "architectural template".

- Using Architectural Tab draw grids & name accordingly.

- Goto Manage tab set project base point and project shared coordinates for the project

- Change corrdinates and save the project.
RESULT-
Successfully we have set project base point and project shared coordinates for the project in manage tab using architetural Templates.

2) Open another new file but with a structural template. Using the manage tab set project parameters the same as the architectural model. Copy the parameters from the architectural model to the structural template or enter the parameters manually into the structural model
AIM - By Using the Manage tab set project parameters the same as the architectural model (base point and project shared coordinates for the project) also by using structural template.
PROCEDURE-
- Open the Revit File the open "structural template".

- Using Architectural Tab draw grids & name accordingly.

3) Re-open the architectural model. Using the tools under the Collaborate tab make the architectural model a central model (enabling simultaneous working on the model)
AIM-By Using the tools under the Collaborate tab make the architectural model a central model ,Re-open the architectural model.
PROCEDURE-
- OPEN the architectural file that we have saved as "project1".
- Goto Collaborate tab.
- Click on Collaborate

- Select "within your network" then click ok.
- save file as central model then click yes.

AIM- To Create the Grids Longitudinal and Transverse pattern for the project.
PPEOCEDURE-
- OPEN Revit file Goto Architetural Template.
- In architectural Tab goto "GRIDS"
- Create Longitudinal Grids as @10' c/c

- Create Transverse Grids as @15' c/c

RESULT
WE Have successfully Created the Grids Longitudinal and Transverse pattern for the project,

7) Under the Collaborate tab, select the grids and levels from the architectural model, and using Copy Monitor try to copy the grids to the structural model. See what happens when the copy monitored grid is moved around in the structural model.
AIM- By the Help of Collaborate tab select the grids and levels from the architectural model, and using Copy Monitor try to copy the grids to the structural model.
PROCEDURE-
- OPEN the architectural file that we have saved as "project1".
- Goto Collaborate tab then goto Copy/monitor

- Select Copy monitor And select the grids to copy
- or else copy entire grids using the multiple option.
RESULT-
With the help of Copy Monitor we successfuly copied the grids and levels from the architectural model to the structural model.
