Underbody Coating

1. Write one page about Underbody coating and its purposes. Underbody coating is usually a dens (often based on the rubber)applied uniformly to the undercarriage of the automobile. It is normaly sprayed or painted on when the car is just out of the dealership and is clean. The main purpose of undercoating is to check rust espicialy in the body components like frame rails along with other exposed metal parts.Underbody coating can also reduce wear and tear. In indian roads car underboady is prone to rust easily as become of the seasonal and humid conditions.

Types of Underbody coating –

1. Rubberise:- This is generly through of as the best underbody coating of your car. It present the underbody well protecting it from scratches. Applying this to the under carriage is not much of a hassle either.

2. Wax based underbody coating:-

This-more or less-ehemeral undercoating will wear away in a few mont time on the upside wax based under coating puts up a big fight moisture. It is also the most affordable option out here.

3.Asphat based underbody coating:-

Best suited for lories,trucks,and large vehicle this provides a greater degree of protrction compared to rubber based-based coating.However asphant based coating coating contians little amount of rubber for sound insulation purpose. The process of applying this coating is a bit time consuming though.

4. Polyarethane underbody coating:-

This coating closed up splits and fracture on the underbody of the vehicle. It offers up good protection againts corrosion and also bonds with the metal. Unlike in the case of asphant based coating you can paints over the polurethane coating.
