To sense the temperature of a heater, and turn on if temperature > 25ºC
Aim:
To sense the temperature of a heater, and turn on if temperature > 25ºC.
Simulink :
Simulink is a MATLAB based graphical program for modelling. Simulink blocks in MATLAB provide the interface for the function callers where we can call a function to get the result and plots for the function.
Objective :
To make a model with a given condition
Temperature source:
- 20 °C from 0 to 10 seconds,
- 27 °C from 10 to 30 seconds,
- 23 °C from 30 to 50 seconds
Fan conditions:
- ON if the temperature above 25 °C, OFF otherwise
Block Used:
- Repeating Sequence Stair
- Simulink-PS Converter
- Controlled Temperature Source
- Battery
- Electrical Reference
- Solver Configuration
- Resistor
- Voltage Sensor
- PS-Simulink Converter
- Constant
- Switch
- Controlled Voltage Source
- DC Motor
- Ideal Rotational Motion Sensor
- MRRef

Temperature condition
The inputs are given using a signal builder block.

Steps:-
Here, two circuits involved
1. One is a temperature sensing circuit and another one is a condition-based circuit.
2. Here used blocked are from the library browser
3. The switch is used as an activator for the second circuit based on the Temperature
4. here, the condition is turn on the circuit when the temp is 25 °C, OFF otherwise
5. With help of solvers these blocks are solved
6. With help of rotation motion sensor here converted into RPM graph concerning time
Output :
