To model beams and bracings for industrial steel structures using TSD

Answer of Question No -1

Aim:1. in this question we have to create beam properties for First floor and model the beams.

Procedure:

Step -1

• First click on the Tekla software and open.
• open attached file 2nd week
• go to level and select intermediate floor
• create a new beam.
• and draw beam on layout.

Step -2

• After that we have to create secondary beam
• Now model the beams in the roof level.

Result: i have created beam properties for First floor and model the beams.

Answer of Question No -2

Aim: We have to create rafter beam on second floor as roof and moment frame action in one direction and add bracings at locations as per the design intent

Procedure:We have to follow the following steps:-

Step -1

• Now we will create the Frames at every grid.

Step -2

• Now creates the rafter.

Step -3

• Now We can see the Model Rafter.

Step -5

• Now We will creating the roof panel in Tekla softwre.
• For that go to slab property and create the slab
• And model the slab manually. with the help of mouse.
