To calculate wind load for industrial steel structures and to apply it by using TSD
1. Aim: To
- Generate manual wind loading in the design report based IS code as per the following input
- Basic wind speed = 39m/s
- Terrain category 2
Procedure:
2. Applied the calculated values to the model.
- First, select the load case and applied a load case of face A at the frame 5
- Applied a load case of face B at the frame 1
- applied a load case of face c at the frame D
- applied a load case of face D at the frame A
- like this applied the load rest of loadcases.
3. Aim: To generate wind loading using wind wizard.
Procedure:
- Open the model
- With all the member's properties assigned.
- Load cases and load combinations generated.
Result: The results of wind pressure are obtained by wind wizard.
