Section Modulus calculation and optimization
Section Modulus:
It is Mathematical way to know the strength of your designed componenet by using it's Cross-Section to calculate it's strength.
S=I/Y
Where,
S= Section Modulus
I= Moment of inertia
Y= Distance between the neutral axis and the extreme end of the object
First I used my Hood design cross section for Section Modulus Calculation.

After calculating the Section Modulus I modified the cross section to improve the Section Modulus.
Below is the Image of it, here what I did is added more Rib like shapes instead of straight profile. which helped me to improve the cross section.

Calculation table:
| Section | I (MAX) | I (MIN) | DISTANCE (Y) | S(MAX) | S(MIN) | Section Modulus |
| Section-1 | 828493.75 | 4787.70 | 238.95 | 3467.23 | 20.04 | 3447.19 |
| Section-2 | 832521.36 | 3676.25 | 238.95 | 3484.08 | 15.39 | 3468.70 |
I also tried to increase Cross section by reducing ribs increasing the area but it does not improve the Section Modulus as the addition of ribs do.
