Roof Design

CAR ROOF 

The roof of a car  is the top most outer surface of the car , which is typically curved and designed to protect the occupants from rain , wind and sunlight. The roof part of a car is the top portion of the vehicle . It is typically nade of meatal or plastic and is designed to protect the passengers and cargo from the elements.

                                                 

The car roof is the combination of Front roof rail , bow roof rali, center roof rail and rear roof rail which are covered with the roof top.

Roof frame is the metal surface that supports the roof of car .

Roof panel is the outer most layer of the roof and is typically made from metal , vinyl or fiber glass.

Headliner is the fabric material on the inside of the roof of car.

Sunroof is an optional feature that can be added to cars roof and is typically made of glass or plastic.

Roof rail is metal bar that runs  along inside of the roof of car and is used to attach roof racks and other accessories.

The roof desin is done as per the master section using catia v5 

ROOF DESIGN

As per the master dection bow rof rail 1 & 2 is designed.

AS per the calculations bow roof perdication is satisfied and snow load predication is also satisified but s value not in the give tolerance , so we need to change the RX and RY values as per the requriments opr other wise need to add emposses on the top roof.

CONCULSION 

AS per the master section the roff design , draft analysis and calculation are done .
