RESULT:
In this way we can export the any type of revit file either it is structural or architectural in to the Naviswork and we can save them as naviswork cache files successfully.
2) Use Navigate Tool to walk around the model and walk through the rooms created and record your moving as animation in your Navisworks file
AIM:Using the Navigate tool to walk around the model and walk through the rooms created and record our movings as animation in our Navisworks file.
TOOLSUSED:
- Naviswork
- Viewpoint
- saveviewpoint
- Record
- stop
- walk
PROCEDURE:
STEP-1:Open the Architectural file which we have exported as navis cache file in to the navismanage .

STEP-2:Then go to the view point tool and select save view option

STEP-3:Save the views with appropriate names as required.

STEP-4:now select the walk tool and click the cursor or keybord fornt ,left arrows to start the walk.

STEP-5:with the arrows we can view the of the project at every corneer .

STEP-6:now go to the save view point and click on record and start walking to the direction which you need the views and click on stop to stop the record .

STEP-7:We can see the every single capture in the saved view points which is on our right corner and we can rename our views.
STEP-8: These are saved in the form of frames.

RESULT:
We have sucessfully used the navigate tools to walk around the model and through the rooms created and recorded our moved with the help of above steps.
3) Use Navigate tool to use Realism feature to walk through the model and record your moving as animation in Navisworks file
AIM:To use the navigate tool to use realism feature to walk through the model and record your movings as animation in Naviswork file.
TOOLSUSED:
- Naviswork
- Viewpoint
- saveviewpoint
- Record
- stop
- walk
- Realism
PROCEDURE:
STEP-1:Open the Architectural file which we have exported as navis cache file in to the navismanage .

STEP-2:Then go to the view point tool and select save view option

STEP-3:Save the views with appropriate names as required.

STEP-4:Go to the Realism and select the third person option and walk through the rooms and around the building and save the view points.

STEP-5: go to start view point and start the record and walk through the rooms or views which you need to view with the help of cursor or key board arrows.

STEP-6:Stop the recording they are saved as animations in saved view points .we can see each step of the image .

STEP-7:The pictures will be saved as frames .

RESULT:
With the help of above steps we have used the realism feature and walked through the rooms and around the building and recorded the movings successfully.
4) Embed both architecture and structure *.nwc file to your Navisworks file. Create a clash detection test between the two models
a. Run the Clash Detection Test
b. Study the clashes between the two models
c. List which of the clashes could be approved
d. List which of the clashes could be neglected ( will be taken care later)
e. List which of the clashes can be resolved
f. Save the results after color coding the clashes to the Navisworks file
g. In case of resolution annotate the clash and save the view to defined views in Navisworks
AIM:To create a clash detection test between the architectural and structural model.
TOOLSUSED:
- Home
- Open
- Clash detection
- runtest
- Append
PROCEDURE:
STEP-1:open the revit and save the both the architectural and structural files as NWc and open them in naviswork manage .
STEP-2: open architectural file and Append the structural file to it .both the files got merged .

STEP-3:Click on Clash detective in the home tab .

STEP-4;A clash detective dialouge box appears .

STEP-5:click on add test and select the file in which you need to detect the clashes and click on run test.
c) The clashes are visible in red colour we can appro clasve the clashes which are perfect when we see the images . the colour turns to green.

d.We can neglect the clashes which will not cause any disturbance to the project.
e.we can resolve the clashes which can change the boundary conditions, we can exclude these clashes from detective test.
f.once the clashes are mentioned we can save the file by selcting save as .
g.Now we can annotate and save the cplace where we can see the clash and can be viewed personally and will be rectified .

RESULT:with the help of above steps we can able to detect the clashes in the model and we can resolve the problem and we can send the file to the design engineer.
5) Using the Timeliner feature in Navisworks prepare a schedule for the project developed in week 6 to 8 by adding reasonable assumptions for task start date and end date and simulate the task completion as a visual simulation. Record it and save the timeline simulation to Navisworks file
AIM:using the Timeliner feature in Navisworks and prepare a schedule for a project developed in week 6 to 8 by adding reasonable assumptions for task start date and end date and simulate the task completion as a visual simulation. Record it and save the timeline simulation to Navisworks file
TOOLSUSED:
- Home
- Timeliner
- selection tree
- addtask
- stimulate
PROCEDURE:
STEP-1:open the structural file in the naviswork manage
STEP-2:Click on the timeliner in the home tab

STEP-3:The timeliner box appears in the bottom.
STEP-4:Click on selection tree to select add themto the time liner .
STEP-5:Click on add task and go to attach and select the items in the selection tree.

STEP-6:We can add the actual and planned start and end dates .

STEP-7:Now select the task type as construt.

STEP-8:After finishing filling all the details in the timeliner click on the stimulate.

STEP-9: The stimulating starts from the first day if construction uo to the end in the form of video.

RESULT:
with the help of above steps we can prepare a schedule for the project developed in week6 to 8 by adding reasonable assumptions like task start date and end date and stimulated the task completion as a visual simulation and
recorded it and saved the timeline simulation to naviswork file successfully.
