Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht

ASSEMBLY OF YACHT
INTRODUCTION:
This project report is about 3D modelling, assembling and rendering a yacht using SolidWorks for 3D modelling & SolidWorks Visualize/Photoview360 for photo realistic rendering.
Here is the list of Parts used in Yacht Assembly.
- PROPELLER
- RADAR
- HULL
- FRONT SEAT
- MIDDLE SEAT
- REAR SEAT
- SUPERSTRUCTURE
- RADARMAST
All these parts are separately designed and finally assembled the yacht.
METHODOLOGY:
PROPELLAR:
A propeller is a mechanism which transmit power by converting rotational motion into thrust to propel the ship.
Command’s used:
- Revolve
- Cut extrude
- Fillet
- Circular Pattern

RADAR:
Radar is used for radio detection & ranging to detect objects and their position relative to your position.
Command’s Used :
- Boss Extrude
- Fillet
- Cut Extrude
- Mirror

HULL:
Hull is structural part which is watertight enclosure of the ship, which protects the cargo, machines and accommodation spaces of the ship
Command’s Used:
- Boss Extrude
- Cut Extrude
- Surface Extrude
- Surface Loft
- Sweep
- Fillet
- Shell
- Dome
- Mirror
- Revolve
- Surface Knit

GARAGE DOOR:
In the garage, there are two door types; there is the door that goes from the inside of the garage to the outside yard, this is just a regular exterior door you can buy easily. Then you have the door that goes from inside the garage to inside the house, this door is special, and it's called a fire door.
Commad’s Used:
1.Cut Extrude
- 2.Fillet
- 3.Shell
- 4.Mirror

SEATS:
This yacht have three types of seats.
- Front Seat
- Middle Seat
- Rear seat
Command’s Used:
- Boss Extrude
- Cut Extrude
- Sweep
- Surface Fill
- Fillet
- Chamfer
- Surface Knit
- Surface Trim
- Extend Surface
- Ruled Surface
- Mirror
- Surface Loft

SUPERSTRUCTURE:
A superstructure is an upward extension of an existing structure above a baseline. This term is applied to various kinds of physical structures such as buildings, bridges, or ships having the degree of freedom zero (in the terms of terms of theory of machines).
Command’s Used:
- Surface Extrude
- Ruled Surface
- Surface Knit
- Surface Trim
- Surface Sweep
- Cut Extrude
- Boss Extrude
- Surface Fill
- Surface Extend
- Fillet
- Chamfer
- Dome
- Mirror

Assembly of yacht:
To make the assembly of Yacht we have to use some of the mates.
They are following below
- concentric mate
- Parallel mate
- Angle mate
- Distance mate
- Advance mate

PHOTOVIEW360 RENDERING:
To make the Yacht more realistic to use the photoview360

SOLIDWORKS VISUALISE:
Solidworks visualise is used to render the Yacht, and the help of some tools of the visualize and background setting is given pretty realistic look of the Yacht.
CONCLUSION:
Modelling, assembly and rendering of an Yacht is successfully done by solidworks.
