Project - Design a Hospital Management system

Healthcare management system;

today's web based technology offers many online services in almost every field

every major industry is converting and establishing a digital front for all their major operations to get closed to the booming digital market

the information flow is very fast and redundant means won't add to the betterment of the individual or the organization that's using them

online connectivity is now a must for all the well organized and well managed establishments

we have many industries turning towards the digital front and it could be a very great move for the legacy and necessary industry such as hospitals to move towards that direction

the current existing module is efficient but when the time is not a constraint

we can not have this system when when each and every second matters

above mentioned data cann be accessed by the respective doctor from anywhere around the globe

there are two modules that are identified ,patient and doctor modules

the patient module is used to book appointments,make payments ,view reports

the patient module also contains a disease prediction section where the patients

whereas the doctor module has the user interface for the employees to access the database

there are four types of users in the doctor module

they are admins,doctor,lab staff and pharmacy staff

technologies;

technological innovations have improved the quality of patient care by giving patients broader access to their medical records

adapting medical care to patient's schedules

developing safer medical procedures,tests,and studies

using technology to gather patient data ,analyze it , and apply it in new ways

medical practice management system;

the medical practice management system forms an integral part of the healthcare system

it takes care of different administrative and clinical aspects of your practice

it is geared towards a facility clerical work,such as managing various documents,scheduling appointments,etc

information systems in healthcare automates and streamlines multiple activities,which makes it easy to run the facility smoothly

electronic health record systems(EHR);

electronic health record systems are another type of hospital management system concerned with the patients medical information

earlier,doctors or nurses had to document every medical detail of their patients on paper

but,now they can fill out all the information of the EHR system

the best part is that electronic medical record systems can be accessed instantly using a mobile or computer

E-prescribing software;

E-prescribing software is beneficial as it enables doctors to generate prescriptions electronically

it allows them to directly send prescriptions to the pharmacy in just a few clicks

when the patient gets there ,the store is already ready with their supplements

remote patient monitoring;

healthcare organizations consider new technologies like AR to make the process more visually apparent

AR has firmly created an area for itself as an outstanding market within the working world

already transforming the work methodology forever

it allows the professionals to strengthen the tactic they work on daily

with many of the newest choices being supplemental to the workplace

master patient index(MPI);

the master patient index is a crucial part of the hospital management system as it connects patient records from more than one database

it is generally used by hospitals or large clinics whereby they enter data regarding their patients

once stored,hospitals can use it for future references by any institute sharing the database

this MPI creates an index of all medical records for a specific patient

which is easily accessible by all departments

patient portal;

another essential type of hospital management system is the patient portal

patient portals provide a platform to access health related data using any device

it includes all the information stored in an EHR

such as the patient's medical history , treatments,and previous medications

some of the patient portals even facilitate patients to have a conversion with healthcare professionals

urgent care applications;

urgent care application is a type of health management information system that keeps track of patients that might require immediate attention

it enables patients to skip the waiting room and get care instantly

besides,it provides patients with knowledge about health related quires and informative health articles and even lets them track their medical care status

medical billing software;

the most integral type of health management system is the medical billing solution

it is one of the most time consuming processes and yet one of the critical ones

healthcare facilities are always busy and have little time to spare for managerial tasks

billing software makes it easy by automatically generating medical bills and handling the entire workflow

snippet is a programming term for a small region of re-usable source code ,machine code,or text

ordinarily,these are formally defined operative units to incorporate into larger programming modules

snippet management is a feature of some text editors,program source code editors,IDEs ,and related software

import modules;

we can import the definitions inside a module to another module or the interactive interpreter in python

we use the import keyword to do this

to import our previously defined module example,we type the following in the python prompt

this does not import the names of the functions defined in example directly in the current symbol table

it only imports the module name example there

import with renaming;

we can also import a module by renaming

here,we have renamed the math modules as m

this can save us typing time in some cases

note that the name math is not recognized in our scope

hence,math.pi is invalid ,and m.pi is the correct implementation

import all names;

we can import all names from a module using the following

this includes all names visible in our source except those beginning with an underscope

importing everything with the asterisk(*) symbol is not a good programming practice

this can lead to duplicate definitions for an identifier

it also hampers the readability of our code

the dir() built-in function;

we can use the dir() function to list all the function names in a module

eariler we have defined a function add() in the module example

here,we can see a sorted list of names along with add

all other names that begin with an underscope are default python attributes associated with the module
