Light switch Plate Light
Gas Tank Unit Tail stop

2.Explain tne pupose and working of any three elements briefly

Purpose of a Generator:

A portable generator is a gas or diesel-powered device which provides electrical power. The engine turns an alternator which creates usable electricity up to a certain level of wattage. Users can plug electrical appliances or tools directly into the generator's outlets.

Working of a Generator:

An electric generator is a device that converts mechanical energy obtained from an external source into electrical energy as the output. ... Instead, it uses the mechanical energy supplied to it to force the movement of electric charges present in the wire of its windings through an external electric circuit.

Purpose of Ammeter:

ammeter, instrument for measuring either direct or alternating electric current, in amperes. An ammeter can measure a wide range of current values because at high values only a small portion of the current is directed through the meter mechanism; a shunt in parallel with the meter carries the major portion.
Working of Ammeter:
The principle of ammeter is that the resistance and inductive reactance must be very low. Ammeter has a very low impedance as the voltage drop across the ammeter should be low. ... For an ideal ammeter, the impedance must be zero so that the voltage drop across the instrument is zero.
Purpose of Horn:
The sound made usually resembles a "honk" or a "beep" . The driver uses the horn to warn others of the vehicle's approach or presence, or to call attention to some hazard. Motor vehicles, ships and trains are required by law in some countries to have horns.
Working of Horn:
Electronic horns are used on vehicles to give out warning signals generated by an electronic circuit. A solenoid is magnetized and demagnetized to produce the fundamental frequency and cause the diaphragm to vibrate. This generates high pressure that passes through the trumpet horn to generate a sound.
3.If the total load is 10A from battery, what should be the fuse rating?
If the total load is 10A from battery then fuse rating will be 20A
4.If 500W is the load, what is the voltage and capacity of battery you recommend?
Given:
Load P=500W
let as asuume the voltage as 12V
solution:
capacity=P/V
=500/12
capacity= 41.66 Ahr
5. Identify any two elements which are connected parallel to each other. Why they are connected in parallel?
Distributor and the Breaker are connected in parallel
Generator and Ammeter are coneected in parallel
6. Identify any two elements which are connected in series. Why they are connected in series?

Distributor and Ignition coil are connected in series

Ammeter and battery connected in series
