Answer 2
Starter:-
Starter is a device used to rotate crank shaft of IC engine under its own power.
IC engines once started rely on the inertia from each cycle to next cycle. IC engine generate power in 3rd stroke (power stroke) & powering to 4th stroke (Exhaust stroke) then again 1st & 2nd stroke (intake & compression) of next cycle, hence powering to engine load.
While engine cranking 1st & 2nd stroke power should be provided from outsource. That power is provide by the starter motor. Once engine start motor get disconnect by solenoid valve.
Working-
When we swith on the ignition switch the solenoid valve operates which connect starter motor to crank shaft through pinion & motor starts rotate which rotate crankshaftof engine hence engine get start. Once engine start solenoid disengage starter from crankshaft.
Battery:-
Battery is used to in automobile to store & provide electric energy to automobile components.
A battery is collection of cells. The chemical reaction occuring in the cells of a battery resulting the flow of electric current.
Fuel Gauge:-
A fuel gauge is an instrument used to indicate amount of fuel in fuel tank.
Working-
The sensing system is located in a fuel tank it consist of a float connected to a variable resistor through connecting rod. When fuel level changes then flot level in tank also changes accordingly. Float is connected to resister so this chsnges the flow of current in circuit. Then indicator in dashboard measures the current of circuit, accordingly calibrated dashboard shows fuel level.
Answer 3
Battery load is 10A.
As fuse rating should be greater than the load current. normally fuse rating calaculated as 135% of load
fuse rating= 1.35*load current
Fuse rating= 1.35*10
Fuse rating= 13.5A
as standard fuse rating greater to 13.5A is 15A.
Hense should be of fuse rating 15A.
Answer 4
Generally for cars battery voltage in12V.
Battery capacity can be calaculatedas
Q=E/V
Q=500/12
Q= 41.67Ah
abtterybcapacity should be 41.67Ah & voltage should be 12V.
Answer 5
Both horn are connected in parallel.
Both stop lamp conncted in parallel.
They connected in parallel due to both having same function and should be operate simultaneouly throuh 1 input commond. Hence both should be havaing same votage. As votage remains same at all nodes connected in parallel hence these parts are connected in parallel circuit.
Answer 6
Battery & starter connected in serises circuit.
Horn switch & horn are connected in series circuit.
The both component can oprate at different voltage. threr is no requirment for costant voltage or current. so both componenet connected in series connection.
